Junction Community meetings, held monthly on the third Monday, serve as a vital platform for The Junction Coalition to report on its progress and initiatives. Members of The Junction Coalition, residents, and stakeholders come together to share updates, discuss ongoing projects, and brainstorm new ideas to address the community's needs. These gatherings facilitate open discussions and the free exchange of ideas aimed to improve the welfare and community development of The Junction Community.

Charrettes

IMG_2747.JPG

Our first charrette focused on green infrastructure planning and led to the creation of the Junction Neighborhood Greening Plan. Through this collaborative process, residents helped identify practical ways to integrate parks, gardens, green roofs, and other green spaces into the neighborhood to improve environmental quality, reduce stormwater runoff, and enhance overall livability.

Building on that success, we held four additional charrettes to develop the Junction Strategic Plan. Together with community members, we shaped shared goals and strategies around economic revitalization, housing, transportation, and social services. These charrettes ensured the plan was grounded in the real priorities, lived experiences, and aspirations of Junction residents.

We invite you to be part of the process. Check out our calendar for upcoming charrettes and join us at a future session. Your ideas, experiences, and voice matter—your participation helps shape the future of the Junction neighborhood.
